Raymond’s Rundown – Apr 2

We are quickly approaching one of the most important days of the year for Christians: Easter, the day of our Lord’s resurrection. I hope you will join us for all the activities we have in store to celebrate this most joyous occasion.

I have asked Mary Brod to come sing for us again for our April 6 morning service. Speaking of music, I hope you enjoy our new morning service opening song format and that it breathes some life and excitement into our worship.

On April 13 we will have dinner on the grounds after our morning service, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, and then have Evening Service at 2 pm. There is a signup sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer for the meal and below it is a box for donating eggs and candy. The following Sunday April 20 is Easter and we will not have an Evening Service.

We had a productive first meeting with Bro. Gene Hazell with Second Wind Ministries this past Wednesday and I look forward to getting this program started. He has asked us to form triads (groups of 3) to meet weekly for 12 consecutive weeks to discuss assigned Scripture reading and pray for our church. The triads have been assigned and those of you participating should already be working on your assigned reading. If you have not been added to a triad and would like to be, please let me know so I can arrange for it. It is imperative that we give this our full effort if we want it to benefit our church.

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our church workday this past Saturday. We have a lot going on in the near future so please make service to your King a top priority!

God Bless

Bro. Raymond
