What is salvation?

Followers of Jesus Christ, known as Christians, use the word “salvation” to describe the moment they accepted Christ as their Savior. All it takes is believing that you are a sinner and that God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross in your place and then rose again three days later. In doing do you have received the gift of grace: Jesus’ blood has washed your sin – past, present, and future.

What now?

Many believe they have to change their life before they come to Jesus but this is not true. Once you receive salvation, the Holy Spirit of God enters into you and helps you through life, enabling you to make the right decisions. If you have come to saving belief in Christ then you are now part of the family of God, complete with all the benefits including the Holy Spirit living within you.

Now you should seek out other Christians to help you learn more about God and the Bible so you can share the Good News of Jesus with all of your family and friends. We would love to have you come and fellowship with us but finding the right church for you is most important.

It is truly the greatest and most important decision you will ever make!
